Raffensperger Is Running for Re-Election

The AJC reports that Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is running re-election. With a lot of criticism thrown his way about this handling of the election, much of which isn’t deserved and based on President Trump and his surrogates’ lies, and how he handled the post-election pressure, Raffensperger faces a really tough path to re-election. He already has primary challengers in U.S. Rep. Jody Hice and David Belle Isle. Whoever wins the Republican primary will likely face state Rep. Bee Nguyen (D-Atlanta) next November.
