Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance-Bottoms Drops Hint She May Run For Governor.

After saying she quit before Trump could fire her, former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance-Bottoms told WSB TV’s Jorge Estevez that she just might run for Governor:

“When I left the mayor’s office, I always said ‘Never say never,’” Bottoms said.

“To Georgia races?” Estevez asked.

“To Georgia races,” she replied.

“So you’re saying there could be something you want to run for in our state?” Estevez asked.

“There could be,” she replied.

“And what could that be?” he asked.

“Well, there will be a governor’s race on the ballot,” she laughed.

The 2026 GOP Governor’s nomination race is well underway and now the Democratic nomination race is underway too.
