Kemp On Senate Run: No Decision Until After The Legislative Session

Governor Kemp is a man in demand. Last week he joined the Ruthless Podcast for their 500th episode extravaganza. As an aside, there aren’t many bigger fans of Governor Kemp than the Ruthless Podcast guys. They have a pretty big platform on the Right, which could come in handy for the Governor in the coming days.

Kemp also spoke with Fox News while attending a Republican Governor’s Association meeting, which he chairs, of course. As expected, they wanted to know if he would run for the Senate in 2026.

“I’m in the middle of my legislative session. We’ve got a big tort reform fight going on. I’m chairing the Republican Governors Association. I made a commitment on that,” he added.

But the governor acknowledged that “I know I can’t keep holding out forever, so we’ll have something to say on that down the road.”

There you have it. We won’t have a decision until after the Legislative Session ends on April 4th, but he won’t drag this out.
