Geoff Duncan on “Meet The Press.” GOP 2.0 and Not Running for Senate.
Georgia Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan was on “Meet The Press” this morning talking about election law changes that might take place in Georgia. Duncan talked about the decision not to preside over the Senate this week as SB 241, the Senate’s omnibus election bill, was debated.
Several times Duncan used the phrase “GOP 2.0” which refers to a new organization he’s launched to try to nudge the GOP into a new direction.
As in the Abrams interview, Chuck Todd pressed Duncan on his political future. He announced he will not be running for U.S. Senate against Senator Raphael Warnock.
You probably don’t remember me Buzz – met you at a GOP breakfast here in Savannah – member of Chatham County Board of Elections – three vote counts – original, manual and another machine votes left us within 10 votes or so so no fraud here. Most fraud comes from voters, not election officials. Been a tough year for elections with all the changes – we came through the last two with flying colors but June was pretty much a disaster for all. Enjoy your posts.
