Introducing the “Elected Officials By County” Google Sheet.

A little side project I’ve been working on has reached a point where I’m ready to share it.

I’ve created a Google sheet showing each candidate in every federal and state-level election organized by county. As often as I could find it, there are links to the candidate’s website and campaign cash on hand from the most recent reporting period. Also displayed are the expected Republican and Democratic votes from a website called “Dave’s Redistricting”. I came across this website in 2022 and found it to be extremely accurate at predicting the winner, even though it was not accurate in predicting the final margin of victory.

View the “Elected Officials By County” Google sheet here.

If you want to look at individual Google sheets for various categories of Elected Officials, click here. This is also the page where the Elected Officials By County Google sheet resides.

Please understand this is a work in progress. There is a massive amount of information to collect and I’m not all the way there yet. Nevertheless, Federal candidate data is pretty much how I want it, and State Senate and State House information is not far behind. Very soon I will turn my attention to county-level races. As updates are made, they will appear in the Elected Officials By County Google sheet.

If you know of information that should be in this Google sheet, such as a website for a candidate, feel free to email me and I’ll get it loaded into the sheet.

I hope folks find this information valuable. Post-election, the sheet will become a guide to help folks know who their elected officials are and how to get in touch with them.

Please share it with anyone you think might be interested.

Thanks!

    1. Thanks Bill. It started as something to scratch my curious itch, but then I thought I could make it public and help folks see what’s going on out there.
