Congratulations Senator Elect Jason Dickerson
Yesterday, the people of Georgia Senate District 21 rejected the policies of the radical left and embraced common sense conservative solutions for hardworking Georgians. Congratulations to my friend, Jason Dickerson. We look forward to working with him in the Georgia Senate. Jason ran a campaign embracing lower taxes, secure borders, school choice, upholding life, and protecting girls’ sports which resonated with voters in Cherokee and North Fulton. He has a heart for service and will represent the people of SD 21 well.
Let’s be clear, despite national media attention and countless dollars flowing into Georgia, this race was a blowout for conservative values. Prognosticators had predicted an outright win or a close race for the left, but it was not close. The Georgia Faith & Freedom Coalition distributed thousands of our voter guides to churches, homes, and voters across the district. In addition, we sent voters of faith 67,876 text messages in SD 21. We saw the turnout increase by nearly ten thousand voters over the August election, with an increase in support for the conservative candidate.
About Jason Dickerson:
Born and raised in Cherokee County, Jason’s roots run deep in the community he loves. The son and grandson of combat veterans, he grew up on a farm in Union Hill, learning the values of hard work, faith, and service. For nearly 30 years, he has channeled those conservative Republican values into a successful business career – which included co-founding Quest Trucking, a long-haul transportation company that employed over 400 people and was known for its iconic, military-themed tractor trailers honoring America’s veterans.
For Dickerson, service has always been the heartbeat of his life. Through the Jason T. Dickerson Family Foundation, he and his family donate nearly $1.5 million annually to support those in need in Cherokee County. The foundation’s work helps provide utility and rent assistance for struggling seniors, temporary and permanent housing for homeless veterans, medical care and refuge for abused animals, and offers scholarships to local students pursuing their dreams. -from dickersonforgeorgia.com

Congrats on the win, but this doesn’t bode well for Republicans in 2026. Yes, Democrats lost, but they significantly over performed (by nearly 10 points!) in a solidly red district runoff, which tend to skew Republican…
