Sen. Brian Strickland Makes It Official: He’s Running For AG

Readers of the Peach Pundit Election Rumor Tracker will know that Senator Brian Strickland has been a rumored candidate for Attorney General. It’s no longer a rumor, as the Senator filed papers to explore a run for Georgia’s top cop.

“I recently filed paperwork to begin the initial process for a campaign for attorney general,” Strickland said Wednesday. “As the legislative session concludes, this filing allows me to formally explore the campaign as my family and I spend the necessary time to make this decision.”

Most folks who explore a run end up running, so let’s assume he’s actually running. 😉
