Vernon Jones Is Officially Running Against Brian Kemp

Something like a dozen people showed up for Jones’ campaign announcement in Liberty Plaza. A few conservative outlets have covered the announcement, as well as some mainstream publications. Rudy Guiliani has endorsed Jones. Don’t act surprised. Bernie Kerik is apparently upset that David Shafer hasn’t said anything about Jones’ candidacy. If Trump has said anything, I haven’t seen it. Kemp’s campaign has already taken a shot at Jones, telling the AJC, “He is not a Republican and he is certainly not a conservative.”
