Loeffler Is Launching a New Group, May Seek a Senate Rematch

The AJC has a story today on Kelly Loeffler and her post-Senate plans. As a senator seeking reelection, Loeffler embraced Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene and lost to Warnock in the January 5 runoff by nearly 100,000 votes. But she’s launching a group called Greater Georgia, which apparently seeks to go toe-to-toe with Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight.

According to its website, Greater Georgia will focus on registering voters and “engaging communities that feel left out of the political process and restoring trust and integrity in our election process.”

Loeffler also told the AJC that she’s considering a rematch against Sen. Raphael Warnock in what could be a crowded primary field. David Perdue has already filed a statement of candidacy and Doug Collins is also reportedly considering a run.
