SO….good ‘ole Governor Deal and his administration, who brought the Film Tax Credit, engaged in lies and deception for a number of years while he trumpeted it out the yin yang as having a positive impact on Georgia.
JUST like Governor Sonny Perdue’s Go Fish program, a sht-ton load of money spent with NEGATIVE returns to the state.
While I am still on a Quixotic bent for a straight tax with no such thing as credits or deductions, the most obvious short term solution for this one would be to remove the ludicrous clause that allows the credits to be transferable.
