Move over, Rick Jackson. A candidate for U.S. Senate has loaned her campaign MORE than $50M, $50,250,000 to be exact.
Her Highness Empress Queen Christina Clement’s most recent FEC filing lists this remarkable sum loaned to her campaign committee named “STATE OF LOC NATION FOR CLEMENT FOR SENATE.”
Who in the world is Christina Clement? According to her website, she is the lawful leader of something called the State of Loc Nation. There’s a policy paper on the website which begins with this:
I don’t want to make any accusations here, I’m just “asking questions” as the podcast bros like to say, but is the $50M loaned to her Senate campaign in US dollars(USD) or Loc Nation Dollars(LND)?
This whole situation calls to mind a hilarious scene from “Better Call Saul.”
Sadly, Christina Clement’s name will not appear on your ballot. She’s running as a write-in Republican. But seriously, isn’t the United States Senate a step down from Her Highness Empress Queen?
