Mike Collins Joins GOP Senate Primary.
10th District Congressman Mike Collins made it official today. He’s seeking the GOP Nomination for U.S. Senate.
From the campaign’s press release:
Jackson, Georgia – Today, successful businessman, Conservative Workhorse, and America First Fighter Mike Collins launches his campaign to defeat far-left Jon Ossoff.
“Jon Ossoff does not represent Georgia’s values and has attacked our states’ best interests at every opportunity. He’s voted to raise taxes on Georgia families, supercharge inflation, open our Southern Border, and allow men to play in women’s sports,” said Rep. Mike Collins. “This is Georgia’s moment. This is the people’s time to take back control of this Senate seat, deliver on President Trump’s America First agenda, and kick Jon Ossoff to the curb—and together, that’s exactly what we will do next November.”
Collins’ announcement comes on the heels of news that Governor Kemp may be backing Derek Dooley for the seat and Insurance Commissioner John King opting to seek reelection rather than the Senate spot.
Collins joins fellow Congressman Buddy Carter, activist Reagan Box, Christopher “LeFlare” Chapman, and Christina Clement, the self-proclaimed “Empress of Loc Nation,” as announced Republican candidates.
