Senate News: MTG Out. King In.

It’s Monday morning, and I hope your week is off to a good start. The news is rolling in fast and furious.

ICMYI, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene didn’t take the weekend to think it over. Friday, she issued a long, thoughtful statement on why she is not running. It’s filled with words of encouragement and respect for her colleagues and the institution she is a part of – words that have been the hallmark of her public service.

So, Jon Ossoff, you can stop with the fundraising emails and campaign ads claiming I’m your opponent.

I’m not running.

Start trying to raise money off one of these other generic Republicans, though I expect your donations will drop.

Good luck.

However, this morning, Insurance Commissioner John King, with a short biographical video, says that he is running for U.S. Senate.
