Mark Your Calendar: Senate District 21 Candidate Forum Coming Up

It’s officially political season in Cherokee County and if you’re the kind of person who reads Peach Pundit (which you are, obviously), you’ll want to put this one on your calendar.

On Monday, June 2nd, Americans for Prosperity Georgia is hosting a Candidate Forum for the State Senate District 21 Special Election. The event takes place at Timbers on Etowah in Canton. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the program kicks off at 7:00 PM sharp.

This is your chance to hear directly from the folks who want to fill the seat recently vacated in the Georgia Senate. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: local elections matter even more than the ones that get all the national media buzz. The people we send to Atlanta make real decisions about your taxes, your schools, your roads, and your rights.

AFP has a history of putting together solid events, and given the stakes of this particular race, I expect a lively crowd and some pointed questions.

And between us? There’s a high probability you’ll see me there.

If you’ve been grumbling about politics lately, this is your chance to do something about it. Show up. Listen. Ask questions. Vote.

See you June 2nd.
