Will The Last Member Of The GRA Please Turn Out The Lights?
Friends, Georgians, Republicans, lend me your ears;
I come to bury the GRA, not to praise it.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with the GRA.
Fresh off the Georgia GOP State Convention, where, according to the Georgia Republican Assembly(GRA), almost all those elected to Party leadership were either endorsed by or dues-paying members, a mass exodus from the GRA has begun.
GRA Brass expelled Katie Frost (who served as Chair of the Convention Nominating Committee) from their midst for reasons I don’t understand, nor care to understand. Then, yesterday, word reached my ears that over 70 dues-paying members had resigned, stating that longtime GRA leaders Alex Johnson and Nathan Darnell had led the organization away from its original mission.
The full letter, entitled “Good Bye,” along with many of the names of those resigning, is posted below.

UPDATE: GAGOP Chairman Josh McKoon has resigned from the GRA, too.
